52:56 Kushiel's Chosen by Jacqueline Carey

I loved the first book in the series but I think this one moved a little more slowly and the ending could have been about 50 pages shorter and would have read a bit better for being compressed some tho the last page was worth all of it. Another good tale of political intrigue occasioned with sensual themes tho not nearly as much so as the first book. The true villain of the series has once again managed to escape her due thus leaving things open for the last in the first trilogy. I'm desperately hoping that what she has wrought catches up to her in that book.
