Night weaning, part 5

I'm onto you, my son. I can't be tricked, I can't be fooled, I'm not letting my guard down that easily. You may have had a great night last night sleeping 10hrs straight from 8:45p-6:45a but you've been doing that every other night this week and the next night we've had an hour long fight so be forewarned, I'm ready for you tonight. There will be no quarter given.

Insight from the Dalai Lama:
Fulfilled desire may provide a sense of temporary satisfaction; however, the pleasure we experience upon acquiring a new car or home, for example, is usually short-lived. When we indulge our desires, they tend to increase in intensity and multiply in number. We become more demanding and less content, finding it more difficult to satisfy our needs.
