Hard to believe but yep, it's been 14yrs since Mark and I stood before our friends and family and pledged ourselves to each other. 14yrs + 4 kids = lots of good times and bad. We've had our ups and downs but our love has always remained strong. Each day he gives me reason to be thankful for how blessed I am with such a devoted lifemate and perfect partner. He may not be "perfect" perfect but he's perfectly mine: heart, body, and soul. Everything else can be worked on.

Whether one believes in religion or not, there is no one who does not appreciate love and compassion. Right from the moment of our birth, we are under the care and kindness of our parents; later in life, when facing the sufferings of disease and old age, we are again dependent on the kindness of others. If at the beginning and end of our lives we depend upon others' kindness, why then in the middle should we not act kindly toward others?
