The latest Anita Blake book. I have to say I was much happier with this book than many of the middle books. Like The Harlequin, there is more plot than the previous porn books. The sex is there but not overly done. It seems like LKH has finally found a good balance in Anita's world. The Marmee Noir plot is continuing to move along, slowly, but that's ok. Anita is actually growing a little bit and while we are still rehashing some of the same character points, it seemed like Anita is figuring herself out a bit more so it was ok and not overdone.
All in all, a decent Anita Blake book.
