Harper was struck by lightening as a teenager and now has the ability to sense the dead and get a glimpse of their last living moments. She travels around the country with her step-brother Tolliver finding missing deceased people to give their loved ones some closure (for a paycheck of course). This time tho, finding the dead girl was just the beginning...
Interesting premise for a series. I really enjoyed the story and the writing never seemed faked or forced as it's felt in her Sookie books which means I guess I'll keep trying with the Sookie books a little longer to see if that gets better and I'll definitely be looking to pick up the other books in this series as it looks interesting.
