What a wonderful story! I read this with Matthew and Jonathan (and Nico a bit too) and we finished it in about a week. The boys always wanted more and who could blame them. Such a sweet story, well written, fun, jungle animals, pirates, but with a good kind man managing to come through it all by listening and talking to the animals. It's easy to see why it's a classic. Jonathan has now asked me to see if there are more and to put them on his wishlist. Hmmmm...maybe this will be the next step up from Curious George for him. LOL
