This can't be normal

Seriously. I'm not saying I'm any sort of expert on normal, especially not normal child development but still, Nico can't be normal. None of my friends talk about their kids doing what he comes up with so I can only assume that it's not normal. Here's a list of a few things that seem very out of place to me:

• By the age of 2, could find laptop bag, remove laptop, remove cord, plug cord into wall and into laptop correctly, power on, and only needed someone to type in password so he could then use the bookmarks to get onto Nick Jr.
• By 2½ had figured out how to use the browsers history buttons to go onto sites mommy did not deem appropriate for him but that big brothers liked visiting. He now knows that "a" is for addictinggames.com We give the big boys a course in clearing their cache.
• Today, figured out how to make his own popcorn in the microwave. Only problem was leaving the outer plastic bag on but otherwise got the popcorn just right. Was very proud of himself.

I understand that turning on the tv is no big deal, nor is changing channels, picking dvds out, loading the player, etc. He's been doing all that for ages. But he's figured out that if things don't turn on, go look and see if mommy unplugged them and they can be plugged back in. Yeah, seriously. He totally rocks at Guitar Hero and Rock Band now and can even make it through a song on Rock Band playing the drums on easy. Yes, he needs to be rescued twice but he still makes it through. He's getting further and further on songs on guitar too.

The biggest question in my mind is will he become some sort of supervillian evil genius or eventually learn to harness this great intellect for the good of all humanity. Only time will tell.
