In Broken, we return to check in with Elena and the pack. She is now pregnant and since she's the only living female werewolf this makes for an interesting concept. She is bored since neither Jeremy nor Clay want her straining herself at all but now a job has come up to keep her occupied, maybe a little more so than they bargained for.
Another page turner. Fast, fun, well written. I found that the author did a good job of keeping Elena's basic personality while introducing motherhood into it. Not always easy to do. It was nice to see that Clay has maintained his personality as well but has also started learning not to be so smothering. Wish we could learn a bit more about Jeremy as he continues to be enigmatic but that's not such a bad thing. Continuing to really enjoy this series.
