Pics from the Pumpkin Patch

What would October be without our annual trip to Farmer John's Pumpkin Patch...
Yes, for the record, Christopher didn't want to be there and was saying that he had no interest in carving pumpkins for Halloween as that was "childish". This from the same teenager that can't wait to go out and get tons of candy. I told him if jack-o-lanterns were too babyish for him, than he could stay home and pass out the candy at which point he grudgingly agree to go and amazingly enough, he picked out a few pumpkins too. Go figure.
Notice the lovely black smiles on the youngest two. This year Jonathan spied some cookies on our way out and they all looked cute at Farmer John's wife so she handed them out. She only had three so Christopher opted out but then she found some candy and he scored a Tootsie Roll pop. Gee, sometimes it pays to be unselfish. Who knew?
