This is a huge milestone for Nico. In the last two days he has spontaneously strung 2 words together to give us more information. Yesterday it was "no more" and today "mommy, down". We are also seeing more and more words trying to come out as he tries to communicate more complex ideas to us. I know it's frustrating for him but the progress recently really has been amazing. It looks like the new neural pathways are starting to form the work arounds which is just fabulous that it's happening so quickly. Now he is even trying more words with different syllables like "buboh" (bubble).
Really, really fantastic progress and we couldn't be happier.

Yeah for more words!
I'm so glad you got him into speech therapy when he was so young. By the time he hits kindergarten it will be hard to tell that learning to talk was so tough for him.
