Yes, with speech comes the ever fun talking back but then there are those wonderful conversations which just make you laugh. Here's one from today:
Nico: "I love you mommy"
Me: "I love you Nico"
Nico: "No, you need to say I love you too mommy"
Me: "Ok, I love you too Nicholas Davis"
Nico: "I love you too mommy"
Me: "I love you too Nicholas Davis"
Nico: "I love you more"
Me: "No, I love you more"
Nico: "No, I love you more"
Me: "I love you to the moon and back"
Nico: "I love you to the moon and back...with a big chair to get the vitamins"
At this point I just busted out laughing. How can I possibly compete with that?!
