The first book in the series staring Kitty Norville, midnight-shift DJ and werewolf. I found it interesting if a bit duller than a lot of the other books I've been reading recently. Not bad just not gung-ho fast paced, not hugely romantic, and not a lot of political intrigue. Not sure if I would have picked up the next one had I not been given the first four in the series as it didn't grip me tightly enough but I'll keep giving it a chance. I will say that I like the way Ms. Vaughn is creating her urban mythos and the fact that she doesn't always do the expected which is always refreshing.
