The 13th book in Armstrong's Otherworld Series. This one is told by Savannah Levine, the daughter of witch Eve Levine and sorcerer Kristof Nast. With her adoptive parents, Paige and Lucas, away on holiday, Savannah is presented with an opportunity to take on her first case as a private investigator. The matter looks simple enough on the outside but looks aren't always what them seem.
This was very fast paced and had lots of twists and turns which I like. My only problem is that towards the end, stuff started coming out of left field with no real prior clues. That kind of stuff tends to bug me. A good installment and with a cliff-hanger ending. Ugh! No fair to make us wait a year or so to find out what's going on!
