This was one of Christopher's bookclub reads. A memoir of a champion swimmer who met with an extraordinary adventure during a typical training session one morning. A baby gray whale became lost from his mother and attached himself to her. This is the story of the hours they spent together in the ocean searching for his mother and everything she got to experience as a result during those hours. Short, quick read but wonderfully descriptive of her time in the water with Grayson. A touching story that draws you in as you hope along with her that Grayson's mother will be found.
