We started his Pre-K year working on the alphabet and basic phonics. By the end of Pre-K he was well into the first box of Hooked on Phonics and reading simple 3 letter words with short vowel sounds. He has now finished the 3rd box of Hooked on Phonics which concludes the "1st grade" material and we'll be starting box 4 soon. Everywhere we go, he is reading signs and if he can't figure it out asking what they say or mean. It's so incredible to watch as the reading switch has definitely been flipped on!

We have another reader!
Hard to believe it but the "baby" is reading:
