Jonathan is done with high school! My sweet, cheerful, super helpful chefmonkeyboy is done with the K-12 grind. This month has seen a lot of lasts for him. He is done with swim team. He has acted in his last YAW Play (and seriously, check out this amazing card they made for him!)

We watched him graduate with honors on Monday. He made the Ocean Grove Honor Roll, National Honor Society, and also had cords for some math award.
We went to a big lunch before the ceremony with her, Mark's dad and his gf Lucero, my mom and brother. I had to remind Jamie she could not tell Jon the big news yet. That had to wait.
Yeah, his head pretty much exploded and it was as hilarious as you can imagine.
All that was Monday. Today is Friday and his official last day. He has plans to maybe take a few classes at community college but for now he wants to enjoy some down time this summer, well as much as his work allows, spend some time with friends, and work on getting his driver's license. He is currently working at a cafe as a busboy/server but is also starting to get some line experience which has been great for him. He can't get in full time though so he's starting to look around to try and at least get another part time job at a bakery to get some more experience there. I think his future looks bright and I'm excited to see where things go from here.
But now, I'm down to just homeschooling one and that's really going to be weird when the fall comes.
